The video A Space between Mirrors is part of a series of works shot at Montreal’s racetrack. A reflection of a site which folds in upon itself before becoming an abstraction. Formal play between a lens, a body, mirrors and deserted spaces.
An essay on the suggestive experience of space in a phantasmal site—trying to get closer to it while realising the absurdity of trying to penetrate it. These images were taken at the Le Centaure restaurant, a huge abandoned area next to the stands overlooking the racetrack.
